Hannah & Nate were one of those couples that booked their wedding only a few months before. I am usually completely full in September, but had a one spot open on their day. It was awesome! We knew it was meant to be ;) We instantly clicked. I mean, it's hard not to get along with these two. They are such sweet, genuine people.
Hannah & Nate waited their whole lives to meet each other and when they met last November, it didn't take long at all to know that this was it and they had met the one God made for them :) These two are so full of joy, they have so much fun together, they just radiate love for each other and others. I am so happy that I met them!
Days before their wedding, storms were on the forecast. In September! Not saying that it never rains in September, but here in Cali it's usually still pretty warm. So when the weather man was saying it was suppose to pour rain and storm ALL day Saturday, we were all a little surprised! I met with Hannah a few days before her big day and she was not worried at all about the rain! She was just SO excited to be so close to marrying Nate, nothing was going to bring her down. When I arrived on wedding day, I was greeted by a joyful, smiling Hannah, so excited for the day and not letting anything get in her way! And Hannah was a STUNNING bride!! So beautiful :)
Hannah & Nate truly were the perfect couple for a day like this. A lot of brides would let the rain effect them, I mean it would be hard not to. But they embraced it and because of that the day was more magical then ever! The rain let up before the ceremony and we were able to get all of the bridesmaids and groomsmen photos done, thankfully! Then RIGHT before the ceremony started, literally minutes before, it started POURING. It was crazy!!! Thankfully, the ceremony was under a tent, but all the bridesmaid AND bride still had to walk through the rain to get there. And even though it was pouring rain, it was amazing!! The ceremony was so special and Nate & Hannah ended it with sharing their first kiss. Then literally RIGHT after they were pronounced husband and wife and walked back down the aisle, the rain stopped and the SUN came out and a rainbow appeared! I am not exaggerating at all, that is really what happened! God planned it out perfectly. It was amazing.
We finished up family portraits, bridal party and then bride and groom photos, they were announced into their reception! Everything took place under a big white tent filled with wonderful guests who loved them, gold table cloths, an array of flowers in different sized vases, tea cups and books scattered everywhere. It was beautiful! After dinner everyone headed over to the barn where the fun started!! The barn was transformed only a couple days before the wedding and it was AMAZING. Lights strung up everywhere, hay scattered on the floors, flowers along the barn walls. They had a photo booth, yard games, a popcorn machine, and fun make your own drinks! But the best part, the DANCING!! Everyone was having the best time dancing the night way, especially Nate and Hannah! Not only did they have normal dancing, they had a bridesmaid dance (which was adorable!), and some of their bridal party members sang songs with the guitar too. Probably my FAVORITE part of the reception...was when Nate & Hannah did the jewish chair dance and were lifted up on chairs while everyone danced around them!! Words really don't do that moment justice. To watch everyone having SO much fun, so full of excitement while Hannah & Nate were lifted up and down on chairs was AMAZING. I seriously had a smile glued on my face the WHOLE TIME!!!
These two were whisked away through a sparkler tunnel and off to their Hawaii honeymoon!!! What a day!! Nate & Hannah, thank you so very much for choosing me to be your photographer. I was honored to be a part of your day and get to know you two. May the Lord richly bless your marriage! Enjoy my favorites from the day...there are MANY! And thanks for reading...I know I wrote a lot this time, haha ;)
