We got a late start leaving for our trip. Not that that is unusual for us, haha. We are pretty relaxed, laid back people and we were just taking our time. AND we are definitely not morning people...which meant we left in the afternoon. Even though we did get a late start, I loved every minute of it. Just being with my boys is the thing I love most. It was an extra special day too because it was Ryden's 1st Birthday!!!
Ryden did pretty good for his first long car ride. He slept the first 2hrs and then I attempted to entertain him the last couple hours. And of course he HAD to "drive" when we took a pit stop...you'll see what I mean below ;) I don't know about you, but I just love road trips! My hubs and I just got to talk and laugh as we drove through the beautiful scenery. It is the best!
We had 3 wonderful days of the gorgeous ocean (literally our beach house was RIGHT on the ocean, you look out your window and feel like you're almost in it!), wonderful family, sleeping in, awesome weather, golf cart rides along the ocean cliff, eating pie at the light house, picnic at the beach and watching the oscars, haha. It was all PERFECT. Little getaway's sure renew and refresh you.
Ryden had such a great time on his first trip to the ocean. Even though it was a tad chilly, he loved looking at everything. It was so much fun bringing him there. Enjoy pics from our trip!! I usually don't bring my expensive gear on personal trips...but I decided to bring a few things this time and I'm so glad I did! Enjoy!!
