Wymore Family: Louisa turns two!: Chico California Photographer

I love this sweet family! We met when I first did Gretel's maternity photos a couple years ago. Then I got to shoot sweet baby Louisa's newborn photos, at just 2months old. I can hardly believe she is now 2years old! How crazy!

Little Louisa is such a cutie! I had so much fun just following her around while she played in her own little world :) I was also so thankful for the light we had. It was perrrrrfect! Enjoy my favorites! Thank you Wymore family for choosing me to take your photos! I had the best time with you!

Tiffany & Tim: Truck Engagement Shoot: Part 3: Chico California Photographer

Excited to share the third and final part of Tiffany & Tim's Engagement shoot! We ended the shoot taking a few photos with Tim's grandpa's truck in them. I loved it!! I have yet to do a shoot with a truck and from this one it definitely makes me want to do it more often!

Now, I cannot take the credit for all the awesome themes and props used in their engagement shoot. Tiffany came to me with all these amazing ideas and I just made them come alive! I love with clients have fun, unique ideas for shoots :)

Enjoy my favorites from Part 3!! Such a fun way to end our time together :)

Ana & Brandon: Texas Wedding!: Chico California Photographer

Where do I begin?? This was such an AMAZING wedding. So happy I'm finally getting to share it with you! It was such an honor to shoot Ana & Brandon's wedding. I mean, they flew me all the way to TEXAS just to shoot their wedding, they loved my work that much. It doesn't get much more flattering then that! Not only was the wedding amazing, but the whole trip was as well. My hubby and I fell in love with Texas while we were there. We LOVED it. I can tell you more about that later though, for now let's stick to the wedding ;)

Ana & I emailed and skyped quite a few times before their wedding...so when I arrived there I felt like I already knew her...and loved her!!! We were able to go to part of their rehearsal dinner the night before their wedding, which was great and so nice to actually meet them in person before their wedding day. I instantly loved both of them and knew it was going to be an awesome wedding!

I arrived at the venue a hour or so before I was actually suppose to be there to scout it out. I instantly fell in LOVE with it. I right away knew why Ana choose me to shoot her wedding. My style matched PERFECTLY with the venue and feel of her wedding! I first walked into the barn where the reception was being held and my jaw literally dropped and I let out a "wow"!! Everything looked AMAZING. I was in love. All the details, the feel, the theme, the pops of colors were perfect. A dream wedding for me to shoot for sure! Ana worked so hard on all the little details. All the decor was D.I.Y and it looked incredible.

More importantly then all the amazing decor and venue, the whole bridal party and everyone involved in the wedding were some of the sweetest people ever! I was greeted with warm smiles and hugs. I so enjoyed my time with both the bridesmaids and groomsmen. All the bridesmaids (and bride of course) are such close friends with such genuine friendships and it was so awesome to see that. The groomsmen were so laid back and so much fun and I so enjoyed that!

The ceremony was so so special. I have never seen a groom react like Brandon did when he saw his beautiful bride walk down the aisle. It was amazing! You'll see what I mean below :) Just from the ceremony, Ana & Brandon's love for each other and genuine hearts was so evident. Such a joyous thing to be part of!

One of my favorite parts of a wedding day are the bride and groom portraits. With them being in Texas, and me obviously being here in cali I wasn't able to do their engagement photos, so I had no idea what to expect during their bride & groom portrait time. They far exceeding my expectations!! They were SO natural in front of the camera, so comfortable. It was like they had worked with me before! I really had to do very little posing directing, they were in their moment and it was awesome to just capture it. They truly are so perfect together!

The reception was so much fun! Texas receptions definitely have a different feel and I loved it! It was so much fun, while being so relaxed. They had smore's, a photo booth, an awesome candy bar and games. Drinks out of mason jars, a timeline of photos of just the two of them and a really yummy dinner. Such sweet dances, cake cutting and fun dancing! All the fun took place in a gorgeous barn, surrounded by twinkling lights. It was magical! They exited the reception running through a sparkler tunnel, surrounded by all their friends and family!

Ana & Brandon, thank you so so much for loving my work so much that you wanted to fly me out to shoot your amazing wedding! I had the best time with you and I am so grateful for the experience. Enjoy my favorites from their wedding. It was so hard to narrow it down...so there are quite a few ;)
